Arbutus Community Garden

March 17, 2010

Went on a photo safari to one of the many little community gardens around Vancouver. These are little goldmines for photography. They’re free, local, and they tend to be full of both nature and man-made objects. They also change constantly as the plants go through their cycles,  and as people accent their little plots with interesting bits of pieces.

I come away with lots of varied photos every time I go.

I’m presently putting together a collection based on these mini-safaris. There are still a few I haven’t been to, so over the next few months expect to see more.

Wonderful photos–I liked the apple blossoms the best.

Thank you!! Flowers are so easy to shoot, and I never get tired of them.
