PhotoSensitive

January 14, 2010

I received an email a few days ago, and have been trying to figure what to say here in my blog about it.

The event is one to raise Cancer Awareness using photography. It’s a national event that will be in Vancouver BC  in April 2010. They are also looking for photo submissions by local artists.

Chris writes:

Photosensitive, in partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society, presents Cancer Connections, a traveling nationwide photo exhibition that includes hundreds of images of people who have been touched in one way or another by cancer.

The show is open to all photographers and will feature work by such notable British Columbians as Bryan Adams and Douglas Coupland.

Cancer Connections – Vancouver is inviting British Columbians to join the exhibit in April 2010. We’re looking for submissions from professional and amateur photographers. Deadline is February 28, 2010.

I do hope people will come out to this event, and I look forward to seeing it myself.

    Thanks Cindi!

It’s going to be an exciting event with a lot of laughs and stories of triumph. We really need some more contributing photographers and it would be fantastic to get some more attendees as well!
